The album "Arrival" saw its release in France on November 12th, 1976. The French edition was quite different to the other releases. It had gatefold cover and different picture on the front. It stayed on the French album chart 10 weeks peaking at #15. It was my birthday present from my husband. Valamint kinyithat� bor�t�. Igaz�n k�l�nleges. Sz�let�snapi aj�nd�k a f�rjemt�l. A kedvenc Abba lemezem.

ABBA Live   In the spring of 1986 ABBA's engineer Michael B. Tretow was back in the Polar Studios remixing tracks for a new ABBA project. The ABBA members had never enjoyed live albums and that's why it was strange that Bj�rn and Benny suddenly accepted the idea of releasing a half fake live album. The tracks chosen for this project were taken mostly from the concerts on Wembley in 1979, the TV show "Dick Cavett Meets ABBA" 1981 and the Australian tour in 1977. It is unknown why it was decided to mix together songs from three so very different events on the same album. The track listing was strange as well. The opening track was... "Dancing Queen" which used to be one of the last songs performed by ABBA on their concerts. "Two for the Price Of One" sounded funny among the other hits as the song had never been a hit itself and it was performed in the Dick Cavett show only because it was one of the first songs being ready for the forthcoming album in 1981. It was even funnier that the "phone effect" when Bj�rn sings "Alice Whiting" was taken from the studio recording and mixed into the live one. The tracks were remixed and overdubbed in the studio and it was very hard to know what was the real live sound and what was the studio overdub. The LP contained 11 tracks and the CD version 14 tracks (the CD bonus tracks were: Money Money Money, The Name of the Game/Eagle mix and On And On And On). The album was released in Sweden was on August 18th, 1986. It entered the Swedish chart first on September 10th where it stayed for one week in #49.            ABBA LIVE LP   Ez a lemez t�bb szempontb�l is k�l�nleges. Tretow Bennyvel �s Bj�rnnel a st�di�ba vonult, hogy �ssze�ll�ts�k az �l� felv�teleket, amik a lemezre ker�lnek. Meglep� �s furcsa volt, hogy live �l� felv�telek jelentek meg az egy�ttest�l, mert nem igaz�n kedvelt�k ezek kiad�s�t �s furcsa volt, hogy BB. egyb�l beleegyezett a lemez elk�sz�t�s�be ami f�lig meddig volt igaz�n �l� felv�tel, mert a st�di� felv�telekb�l is mixeltek hozz�. P�ld�ul a Two for the price of one c. sz�mban a telefonos r�szt az eredeti st�di� felv�telb�l vett�k ki. Sz�val ez igaz�n �rdekes album lett. A m�sik furcsas�g, hogy t�bb �l� m�sor felv�teleit v�logatt�k �ssze a lemezre amiknek nem igaz�n volt k�z�k egym�shoz. Ezek a furcsas�gok igaz�n nem zavart�k a rajong�kat, mindenki nagyon �r�lt a lemeznek, ebben biztos vagyok. R�g �ta keresem m�r ezt az albumot. Most kar�csonyra ez is a gy�jtem�nyembe ker�l holland kiad�sban.   K�sz�net �rte fiamnak, t�le kaptam.

New LP in my collection. I got it from my son today. Absolute ABBA - UK One more double LP compilation saw its release in England in 1988. The album entitled "Absolute ABBA" featured 24 greatest UK chart hits of ABBA and a very nice gatefold cover with nice pictures of various ABBA memorabilia, album and single covers, puzzles. The album was even released as a double CD. "Absolute ABBA" entered the British album chart on November 19, 1988 and stayed there for 7 weeks reaching #70. Some of the tracks appeared in edited version as for instance: "The Name Of The Game" 3.21     �j nagylemez a gy�jtem�nyemben. Fiamt�l kaptam ma.   Absolute ABBA M�g egy v�logat�s lemez jelent meg 1988-ban Angli�ban. Dupla LP 24 dalt tartalmaz, amik az angol sl�gerlist�n is szerepeltek. �rdekess�ge a sz�tnythat� bor�t� a sok sok Abba k�ppel, mint egy kirak�s, olyan. N�h�ny dal r�vid�tett v�ltozatban hallhat�, p�ld�ul a The name of the game 3.21

K�l�nleges lemez ker�lt a gy�jtem�nyembe. M�g sosem l�ttam ezt a lemezt azel�tt. A francia Vogue lemezkiad� adta ki ezt a sorozatot, amin az Abba egy�ttes �s Frida sz�ma is megtal�lhat�. Very specia French LP in my collection. Never saw this before. It is a series with Abba songs and Frida on it. 6 LP-s collection.

"The Magic of ABBA"  including a very short version of "Chiquitita". Released worldwide in 1980. The compilation "The Magic of ABBA" was released in USA, Australia and certain territories in South America in 1980. The LP contained 16 songs which was a lot for an LP record's capacity. That's why some of the songs were released in rare edited short versions. "Chiquitita" was shortened with almost 2 minutes from 5.26 to 3.32. Even "Voulez-Vous", "The Name of the Game" and "Angeleyes" appeared in remixed short versions. The cover photo appeared originally on the cover of the 1977 single "Eagle". The cover was gatefold and in the middle there was a short note about the group and 6 well-known photos taken mostly in 1978/1979.     Ez a lemez 1980-ban jelent meg. Tartalmazza a Chiquitita c. sz�m nagyon r�vid v�ltozat�t is. Az ok a r�vid�tett v�ltozatokra a lemez kapacit�sa, a bakelit lemezen nem f�rt el ez a 16 sz�m, csak �gy, ha r�vid�tett verzi�ban ker�lnek a lemezre. A bels� bor�t�n r�vid ismertet� az egy�ttesr�l �s 6 j�l ismert k�p tal�lhat� 78/79-b�l.

Ez a kislemez most ker�lt a gy�jtem�nyembe. Osztr�k kiad�s. 15 h�tig volt az osztr�k sl�gerlista 4. hely�n. 35 �ve jelent meg el�sz�r!   The Austrian release of the single featured different cover to the Swedish one but the same picture in laterally reversed version. The single was released in Austria at the beginning of September. "Dancing Queen" stayed on the Austrian chart for 15 weeks reaching #4. It has 35th anniversary!
