50 years ago, on 5th June 1966, Benny Andersson met Björn Ulvaeus - and so began an incredible partnership!
5th June, 1966: Benny Andersson of the Hep Stars and Björn Ulvaeus of the Hootenanny Singers meet for the very first time.
"Our bands were staying in the same hotel," said Benny. "We met under an elm tree in the middle of a nearby park. We figured it would be a good idea to try and write a song together."

Berns is where ABBA filmed their performance of Hovas Vittne and is situated at Näckströmsgatan 8, 111 47 Stockholm.
